Edina Football Association
HOME OF EDINA YOUTH FOOTBALL

The Edina Football Association was created in 1962 to provide Edina's youth the opportunity to participate in organized football. Since then, tens of thousands of kids have enjoyed the benefits of one of the finest youth football programs in Minnesota.
If you are new to Edina, or new to football, the EFA is a participation and development league. We are a no-cut program and strive to teach kids the game of football at all levels. Our regular season runs roughly 10 weeks (Mid-August to Mid-October). We also strive and focus on developing multi-sport athletes and encourage collaboration with other Edina sports. Since the construction of the dome at Braemar Field in 2015, we have been fortunate to be able to expand our offering to include winter programs for kids looking for additional football programs. Here is information related to our programs, for more detailed information, please visit www.EdinaFootball.org
EFA Programs:
Tackle Programs start in 4th grade and continue through 8th grade. We are part of the Lake Minnetonka Athletic Association and play against Minnetonka, Wayzata, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Maple Grove, and Orono.
Our regular season flag programs start in 2nd grade and continue through 4th grade. This is an introductory, fun play level for students just learning about football. Flag program only plays games, and the time commitment is minimal.
Offseason programs start in January, and we offer Sunday Flag Football and various programs on non-school days during the winter at Braemar Dome.
Throughout the EFA experience, our future Hornets enjoy learning offensive and defensive plays, schemes and skills used by Edina's high school teams!
