2019 Edina High School
HORNET MARCHING BAND
_Jpg.jpg)
We are pleased to present this performance by the 325-member Edina Hornet Marching Band. The band is just one part of an award-winning comprehensive music department that includes seven concert bands, five jazz ensembles, four orchestras, five choirs, and various vocal and instrumental chamber groups.
The Edina Hornet Marching Band performs at home football games, school pep fests, as well as events in support of the annual Homecoming week festivities. The EHMB annually leads the grand day parade on the first Saturday of the State Fair. Comprised of 10-12th grade students enrolled in band at Edina High School, these students also combine with the 9th graders to make up the pep bands that play for many athletic contests throughout the fall and winter seasons. The EHMB has been invited to perform in the Outback Bowl in Tampa Bay, Florida on January 1, 2020.
Thank you for supporting the musical and visual achievements of these young people. For more information on the Edina band program, visit our website at www.edinabands.com.
